Professor Oiva Toikka created the colourful Helle pattern in the 1980s for Arabia Pro Arte. Helle, Finnish for heat, resembles the hot sunny days when the heat makes everything a little dotted. Available in sizes by international paper size standards, the Helle plates and serving dishes can be mixed and matched with other dinnerware sets such as Teema or Teema Tiimi. The new harmonious blue and brown colours match perfectly with linen, vintage blue and vintage brown. The large A4-sized Helle plate is an ideal dinner plate or a serving platter. Serving items make great gifts as they are easy to combine with existing tableware.
