Layers 01 by Danish artist Berit Mogensen Lopez is an exercise is intuition and expression when creating compositions. Throwing aside an analytical approach to colour combinations, the work featured large hand painted blocks of colours – from deep reds and greens, to vibrant blue and orange, and lighter blues and beige. The layering of these different colour blocks allows them to interact and play with each-other, resulting in a composition full of layering and depth. Berit Mogensen Lopez for Paper Collective.
